Central sign former Kingz favourite

Central have signed former Kingz crowd favourite Aaron Silva for the 2002 Southern Trust National League season.
Chilean-born Silva played at the Kingz for two seasons before returning to Chile
Prior to coming to New Zealand in 1999 he played for top South American club Colo-Colo at U20 level, winning three National Club Cup finals while there.
Silva has also represented his birth nation at U23 level (in 1995).
It is hoped that he will prove to be a more than adequate replacement for striker Campbell Banks who recently joined the Football Kingz from Central United.

James Patterson has also move to Kiwitea Street. James was a stalwart of the useful Uni/Mt.Wellington side who defeated Central in the Chatham Cup final in 2001.

Everyone at the club wishes them well for the 2002 season.
