Under 19s win Napier Tournament

Under 19s win Napier Tournament

Central United Under 19s Squad travelled to Napier for the annual tournament with high hopes of winning, after a succesful season in which they won the Bluebird Combined Championship for 1999.
The team performed up to expectations and came away with the trophy for the second time in four years, having finished runners-up for the last two years.
This is New Zealands premier Under 19 competition and shows that the club is in good supply of young talent.
Lets hope we see many of these young players break through to the first team in the near future.
Co-Coaches Paul Marshall and David Spedding did an excellent job with the team in Napier, while not forgetting David White who put in a lot of hard work coaching them through the season.
